26. Pitmedden Gardens

Pitmedden Garden & Museum of Farming Life is situated 14 miles north of Aberdeen in the heart of rural Aberdeenshire. This historic parterre garden boasts over 5 miles of neatly trimmed boxwood hedging, colourful bedding plants, herbaceous borders and an extensive wall trained fruit collection. Adjacent to the garden is the farming-life museum which includes a typical farm-worker’s house & bothy, and examples of early 20th century agricultural machinery.

A visit to Pitmedden wouldn’t be complete without treating yourself to traditional afternoon tea in our delightful tearoom where all our delicious cakes are home made!
